Study Termination

Study Termination

When the services of the PCIR are no longer required, the investigator should notify the PCIR in writing that utilization of resources is complete.

Studies open in the PCIR are reviewed periodically to determine current utilization.  An investigator may be contacted, following a review, to clarify if further usage of the PCIR is anticipated.  In some cases, data collection and PCIR involvement in a study may conclude before the entire study is finished.  The investigator may choose to close the study with the PCIR, at that point, eliminating the need to provide further regulatory documentation to the PCIR.

The NIH requests that each investigator recognize CCTS grant 5UL1 RR025777-02 as providing support for any protocol utilizing the PCIR if information (journal article, book, abstract) is published as a result of this study.
