Facilities
The outpatient clinic for the Participant and Clinical Interactions Resources (PCIR) is located on the 15th floor of Jefferson Towers which houses five participant rooms and four infusion chairs for outpatient services. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:30am-5:00pm and Saturdays from 6:30am-2:30pm. Extended hours of operation, until 7:00pm, are available to accommodate protocols requiring prolonged sample collections.
Inpatient services are provided by the PCIR on a limited basis. Participants are admitted to the 8th floor of the Medical Education Building (MEB), with nursing care provided by the PCIR nursing staff. There are currently two participant rooms on 8 MEB and these rooms may be reserved by calling the Nurse Manager, Jolene Lewis at 934-7817.

Services
The PCIR Nursing research staff is comprised of a seasoned group of dedicated and experienced nurses. Research experience includes research observation, precise sample collection and documentation, study drug administration, and use of scientific research equipment. The nursing team is diligent in working with investigators and their staff to ensure the highest standards of research in the clinical environment. This is facilitated with inservices to provide detailed information on the specifics of each individual clinical trial. The nursing staff strives to provide the best possible care to participants and continually looks for ways to improve services.
