The UAB Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) accelerates research for improved human health.  Our research covers every phase of translation: from idea formation (T0); to the first testing of the idea in a cell, animal, or person (T1); to large scale clinical trials (T2); to moving a proven idea into health practices (T3); and encouraging its adoption as a standard approach (T4).  Funding is provided by the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences as part of its Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program.
